Eintracht Frankfurt have appointed former striker Alexander Meier as an assistant to Helge Rasche, who takes charge of their U17 side next season.

“I am pleased that with Alex Meier we are able to gain an identification figure for the youth team,” said Eintracht Frankfurt’s head of performance, Andreas Möller.

Meier played 379 games for Eintracht Frankfurt, scoring 137 and creating 55 goals in all competitions.
