Chelsea want to overtake Man City for Marc Cucurella

Marc Cucurella is making ink flow in England. After Manchester City, Chelsea are in advanced talks to sign Brighton left-back for £50m, according to the Daily Mail

A first offer of around 35 million euros was made by the Sky Blues for the 24-year-old Spanish international left-back. However, it was refused by Brighton who claim around 60 million for their player.

Kyle Walker and Joao Cancelo are the only senior players at Guardiola’s disposal in the position, so he will do his best to bring Cucurella as soon as possible.

The English media explains that the Blues would be ready to match the amount requested by the Seagulls. Marc Cucurella, under contract until 2026, had a full season in the Premier League with 38 games for one goal and two assists. Chelsea would like to recruit him if Marcos Alonso leaves FC Barcelona.
