Serie A Contract expires on June 30
Jose Callejon is set to become a free agent this summer as Napoli have not offered an extension to his contract, which comes to an end this summer, however the winger has offered to play for the Partenopei for free until the 2019/20 season is over.
The only thing that Callejon has requested is medical insurance to cover a potential injury.
This information comes from Calciomercato.it, who point to the fact that the Spaniard wants to help Napoli secure a European spot in Serie A and also be a part of the squad for the second leg of their last-16 tie against Barcelona in the Champions League.
‘Poli’ Rincon of COPE has said that Callejon has an agreement to join Granada on a free, so long as he lowers his current salary of 3.5 million euros.
The Real Madrid academy graduate, who also played for Espanyol, is 33 years old and has spent the last seven seasons at Napoli.
