Borussia Dortmund agree to extend Jeremy Toljan’s loan with mandatory purchase clause

    « Back

Borussia Dortmund and Sassuolo have reached an agreement for the loan extension of 25-year-old defender Jeremy Toljan, according to Kicker.

The Serie A club will then have to pay a mandatory €5 million fee should Toljan play a certain number of games for Sassuolo.

Toljan joined Borussia Dortmund from Hoffenheim in 2017 for €7m but has failed to impress bosses following a handful of first team games and six months on loan at Celtic.
