Baba Alhassan nets for Hermannstadt against Poli Iasi

Hermannstadt won 1-0 away from Poli Iasi, and now hopes to get a new victory in the last stage of the play-out, with FC Argeş. Sibiu are the penultimate in the standings and still hope to get a place to ensure their presence at the end to stay in the first league.

“It’s a breath of fresh air, it keeps us alive for a few days. Today everyone believed, gave and the victory I think is worth it. My boys were heroes. It’s not easy to mount when you have little chance,” he said coach Eugen Beza.

“I scored a very important goal because on the bench I thought I would definitely score. We are in a difficult moment, but I do not know what is coming. We are in the hands of Allah,”

We try to win the next match and see what happens. Because the teams in front of us can lose, so we do our job and see what happens,” said Baba Alhassan.

“I think our attitude was very good, we wanted to win. With this time we entered from the beginning. It will be very easy for us if we stay in League 1. It’s ugly, how can it be? Very ugly. I hope that this is to give food for thought to those who have to pay us, to pay us as soon as possible, because we always come in with the thought of winning, to give everything we have the best,” Alexandru Matel also said.
