Andre Ayew’s Swansea City qualifies for playoff to EPL after beating Reading 4-1

Andre Ayew and his Swansea City outfit have secured qualification to play in the play-off to the English Premier League next season after beating Reading on the final day of the Championship season.

The Black Stars captain has been instrumental for the Swans all season and was handed another starting role this evening to help his team fight for the last win in hopes of receiving favor from other results.

At the end of a pulsating encounter at the Madejski Stadium, Swansea City has cruised to an important 4-1 win.

A brace from Wayne Routledge plus goals from Rhian Brewster and Liam Cullen steered the side to the away win with George Puscas grabbing a consolation goal for Reading.

As a result of Stoke City’s victory against Nottingham Forest, Swansea has managed to sneak into the top 6. A position that merits a place in the playoff to the English Premier League.

This season, Andre Ayew has made 45 appearances and has scored 15 goals while providing 8 assists.
