Ghanaian midfielder Alfred Duncan was in action as Fiorentina snatched a 1-1 home draw against Brescia in the Serie A.
Brescia surprisingly got off to the better start. Alfredo Donnarumma gave the visitors the lead in the 17th minute.
Fiorentina however fought back and were rewarded with an equalizer. German Pezzella picked up Erick Pulgar’s pass and slotted it home in the 29th minute. The score line was tied at the end of the first half.
In the second half, a number of chances were created but both teams were unable to find the net. Fiorentina had a nervy moment when Martin Caceres was given his marching orders after receiving his second yellow of the game. They however were able to hold on for the stalemate.
Alfred Duncan was taken off in the 67th minute after putting up a decent performance at the heart of midfield.
Fiorentina are currently 13th on the log and Brescia are rock bottom (20th).
