    2021/22 Ghana Premier League matchday 6: Elmina Sharks beat Karela Utd 2-1

    Elmina Sharks condemned Karela United to a shock defeat on Saturday evening thanks to two brilliant goals from Justice Ato Mensah.

    The team from Eliman saw their head coach Nii Odartey Lamptey resigning just last weekend following a 3-1 defeat to Eleven Wonders in an away game in the Ghana Premier League.

    Moving on from that defeat, Elmina Sharks today hosted Karela United at the Paa Kwesi Nduom Park with the aim of returning to winning ways.

    Following an impressive performance from the home team in both halves of the game, goals from Justice Ato Mensah has done the trick for Elmina Sharks.

    The team almost kept a clean sheet but a goal from Kelvin Andoh late on the game meant that Karela United forced the match to ended 2-1 at the end of the 90 minutes.
