2020-21 Premier League odds: Liverpool, Manchester City lead group of top clubs in England

    Watch Now:
    Liverpool Clinches Premier League Title

For those whose childhood Premier League club did not just snap a 30-year title drought, likely bringing a once-in-a-lifetime outpouring of emotion usually reserved for the birth of a child, a wedding or a funeral, the thought of next season has already moved to the forefront of your mind. The 2020-21 season will be a fresh start for all 20 of the clubs in England’s top flight, and it’ll be anyone’s title to take.

    Or will it?

It’s not just fans who are looking ahead, but oddsmakers as well. While the question of whether Liverpool will repeat as champions will still be up in the air regardless, one thing is apparently clear: those who crunch these kinds of numbers have determined that another team has a better chance of lifting the trophy in 2021.

According to William Hill sportsbook, Manchester City leads the pack of the eight clubs on the board with odds to win the title next season. It’s worth pointing out that Liverpool isn’t too far behind, and they sit just ahead of some perennial contenders looking to get back in the title mix.

    NFL Betting
    • Manchester City (-110)
    • Liverpool (+125)
    • Chelsea (+800)
    • Manchester United (+1600)
    • Tottenham (+4000)
    • Wolves (+5000)
    • Arsenal (+5000)
    • Leicester City (+6600)

Obviously these numbers can only be taken with so much seriousness as there are a few major factors that aren’t known yet. For one thing, it’s not clear who’s coming and going from each of those teams for this upcoming season in the transfer market. For another, who knows who else will be in the Premier League following the promotion and relegation results — though those changes might only be marginal.
